Not sure if people know already that but I've found this:

While this might be of little interested to most people around here it has a very good implication.
If they manage to make an OS X version, the linux version won't be that far and as linux server hosting is way easier it's something good for us.

That and the fact that dungeonserver said that this was a pre-requisite for them offering DS for NWN2.

Icarus would be mighty happy to hear this if he were still around.

Idoru is/was a Mac aficionado as well IIRC.

Yay. :) All new intel-based macs run Windows, but not having to reboot each time you want to play is nice. I've been playing quite a bit of EVE since the mac version came out.

Not sure if there is much of a point though - NWN 2 barely runs at a decent framerate when I boot into windows as it is. The mac ports are usually poorly optimised, so I expect the OS X version will be even more of a dog than the PC version.

That being said, I haven't played since the expansion came out. Is the PC version running better now? Last time I played, it ran worse than Oblivion on my computer, while looking nowhere near as nice.

Yes, MoTB runs quite a bit better than NWN2.

I thought that DS was closing shop for good?

Yes looks like they are closed.
I checked their website just after posting my first message and it is down...

I hope someone will maybe create something similar.
