Looking for OAS2 DMs

Well... Teric has the OAS2 coming up on beta.

That means that we are not far being able to use the OAS2 as an application server for new members, many of whom might only have NWN2.

Fairly soon I would like to see some significant DM coverage for applicants on the OAS2, hence the posting.

DMing on the OAS is significantly different from live ALFA DMing. You needn't have much more than a rudimentary knowledge of the DM client, you don't have to build for session, and you don't have to think about your story's plotline further than 3 hours ahead.

The skills that are helpful are patience, a "user friendly" attitude, and a rational approach to the assessment of applicants' RP skills and their likelihood of success within the ALFA community.

I'm also interested to putter around, but my NWN 2 DMing experience is nil atm, and my time is a little restrained currently. If you have some get together sometime, lemme know.

I have never used the NWN2 DM client, but I have a ton of time almost every day of the week (yay for holidays), and want to learn and contribute in any way possible.

If someone with experience would be so kind as to perhaps show me the ropes 1 on 1, I would happily volunteer.

I plan to run a small session.

Any of you who I've spoken to about DMing can jump in on the client side and we can try to learn together. (don't expect much teaching from me though---i'm about as weak at it as anyone

)

Re-upping my enlistment in the squad. I currently DM, Sembia, have dmed the OAS in the past as well as taught rp 101. If your team has need, I am more than happy to join, though personally I have yet to mess with the dm client for NWN2.
