LFG: NWN2 Tiamat Player Group interest

I'm wondering how many folks would be interested in joining the Church of Tiamat player group for NWN2? We had quite an extensive group for NWN1 and some of us will no doubt continue on with new characters for NWN2.

I'd like to see how many folks might be interested and we can discuss ideas etc either here on the boards (maybe the Forum mods will allow an access only player group forum) or we can host the forum at the Cold Lands forums.

Really want folks who are committed to playing. We have had folks in the past join then leave for months at a time which doesnt help the group do the things we want to do. Having a good grip on FR lore would be a plus. Also understanding the ascepts of the Church of Tiamat (colors/groups) is a plus.

Saw this under player groups and thought this might help some folks understand the group better. There are some errors on this posting which I will clear up:

Pentagon
Focus: The Church of Tiamat
Server: six different servers have faction-built/remodeled temples or shrines
DM Contact: various, contact Inaubryn for the one overt temple
Player Contact: go through Inaubryn or through GFL Mikayla
Times: Everyday we are doing something somewhere, easy to find a niche time
Notes: Perhaps the longest running player faction in ALFA dating back to pre-live. Faction built, discovered, and remodeled temples and shrines perhaps make this faction also the leading owner of faction-owned real estate in ALFA. We have our own website that we use to coordinate goals, gametimes, events, etc. The Pentagon is made up of five groups of individuals. Each of the five groups represent the five aspects of The Chromatic Dragon; red, blue, green, black, and white and will be especially attuned and empathetic to the needs of that particular subspecies. Each aspect represents a different particular area of duty also: Red – expansion of Church infrastructure and treasury; Blue – Church military and security; Green – covert expansion of Church membership; Black – establishing a black market/slave trade; White – espionage/assassination.

Since this is a whole new group for NWN2 we will not have the extensive amounts of goods, gold, temples, that we currently do. Also to note, Inaubryn and Mik have nothing to do with the group, although Mik as PA might help a person get in contact with the real leaders. Coach and myself would be the best bets to contact. Coach is by far the loremaster and Grand Pooh-Ba for our Church. Normally during the winter Coach is consumed with his basketball coaching job so it might be better to contact myself with questions etc. Either one of us, though, can help you out.

Inaubryn and I were listed as the contacts not in error, but because we were trying to prevent "outing" the members of this secretive group, but apparently that is no longer a concern.

Appreciate the concern and effort. I was unaware we were trying to keep ourselves secret anymore. We have made posts like this before and a number of ALFA members know about our group. Thanks for the thought.

Hmmmm, I'd love to play a CN dragon worshipper.....and with the NWN2 graphics, the objects of worship must look very interesting indeed

Yeah its just the Church of Tiamat. Although, some of the Church has tried/have infiltrated other organizations in the past. Serpent Guards are mostly for the Tiamat church of Unther, but Im sure we could come up with something like it. Just need to speak with all of you if we ever get a forum here on the boards. If we dont soon, Ill see about getting us one on the Cold Lands forum.
