A two year old computer and this thing is still above the minimum for newer games. I'm happy. :)

My computer is from 2002 and it still meets the minimum...barely...and it would not have made it if I had not upgraded the RAM and the Vid card in the past. Even with those upgrades, its a "minimum." C'est la vie.

My laptop is nice way above NWN2, and I'll upgrade my desktop once vista is released.

For those of us who haven't quite received our new hardware yet, and who can't remember what the specs were.. what was the minimum/recommended exactly?

I'm not ready yet. It's likely to be several more months at least before I can get the needed parts for upgrading so I can run NWN2

Video card is 1 model below the recommended, but should be upgrading in a month or so.

No surprise for me that I'm maxed out for just about every new game coming out...

Only major difference is that the person quoted first believes NWN2 will also run on W2k (my guess is because the toolset does)...the 'official' stance doesn't show this, yet that doesn't mean it isn't possible.

Thanks for posting that. :)

Within two weeks, I will have a puter that meets the recommended specs, and then some. :P

I have a P4 2.4GHz CPU and an Abit IS7 mobo. I think i'm going to go out and grab a P4 3.4GHz CPU and NWN2 today just to be up to terms with specs.

Rest of my system is a BFG 6800GT OC and 1GB of PC3200. :)

The only thing I'm lacking is processor speed.. everything else is just fine.

Toolset works brilliantly in 1 and 2 monitor modes, not one toolset crash like I've been hearing.

I'm on the bottom line atm but I'll be getting an ubar desktop in the next 6 months.
