Exactly, some people will cheat and that is just there loss. Hopefully after some time here they will try it differently and realize the fun they have been missing.
Alfa isn't a hotel for saints but a hospital for sinners.............. no wait maybe that was something else.

Thanks, but I simply don't have the time. I coach 2 travel soccer teams and manage a busy career and family. My recreational activities, few as they are, must be low investment, and ALFA is anything but that.DMyles wrote:Duck come dm an adventure for us!!!

Agree 100% with the OP's first point made, the one he tried to make again, as opposed to the sidetracked discussion about time between servers etc.
Trust people and let them have their fun. If they abuse that trust then don't invite them back to the gaming table. Yes, trust is something earned, but there is also something called the benefit of doubt. If our myriad rules assume everyone is a cheater and metagamer waiting to happen and seek to prevent that behavior before it happens, we all end up with a diminished experience in my view.
As to "DM Farming" well, DMs control the game, and presumably who they DM and when. If players are actually server hopping to horn in on events they have no IC connection to (possibly, but I doubt it is wide spread) then IMO its up to the DM to deal with that ICly or with a polite "this event does not involve your PC, what is your IC reason for being here, and being involved?" I think the DM farming should stop right about there. This goes back to the point on trust above, and dealing with it individually when that trust is abused.
