Hey, you don't have to ignore me. I invite you to vent if that's what you feel you need to do. It's probably more cathartic if you don't bottle it all up anyway. And, you forget my Outbackian friend, that I've never left ALFA, ever. I stuck with ALFA through thick and thin, feast and famine. I've been here. Have you? At any given time, you threw a hissy fit and was out the door. You were one of the authors of "The [redacted]", you spend your time attacking other community members over a year and a half old grudge, or who don't see things your way, and yet you claim to know what community is? Come now, Indio. I've seen some of your posts over the last year, that have been directed to certain people, myself included, and, I'm sorry, mate, they don't reflect somebody who is truly tryin' to push for a productive community on all fronts. Community isn't just building stuff in a game. Statics don't solve everything, my didgeridoo blowin' friend. You like to build, and that's great. I applaud you for at least putting in the effort. It appears you've even learned a great deal since you built the stuff you built for ALFA NWN.
But, you are far from a model community member. Frankly, so am I these days. I honestly care less and less for ALFA as time goes by. I hate to admit that, but it's the truth, if nothing else. I've seen the ALFA community disintegrate and erode over the years down to the handful of people who are present here now. Even one of our new members, Blackorkz has cited the hate we have for each other here in ALFA. A true community, in that sense of the word, doesn't do and say the things to each other we do here. ALFA hasn't been a true, and united community for some time. Anybody without rose-colored glasses, and/or blinders on, can tell you that. And, while some may debate the part you've played in that, you and anybody else that knows your persona from these boards have to admit, when someone says community your name isn't the first to come to mind, or the twentieth for that matter. Unfortunately, you're not the only one, which is why the ALFA community has suffered. The only reason you haven't been summarily banned, is because some people think the good you do outweighs your bad. Others have been summarily banned because not only were they horrible community members, they didn't do a damn thing to help the community in anyway. Good community members don't have infra-strikes for board behavior and have never been banned or faced banning.
That's just how it is. And... uh watch where you throw those stones. Ya might shatter one of your walls.
Edit: You mean, everything I learned from Paul Hogan was a lie? Oh, the disappointment.
