Aye Cynon, the problems here are many, and it all comes down to "no consequence."

As they say ingame, "you just have to respect someone who could fry you where you stand."

Consequence -- recognizing for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction -- is an issue that many adults learn to respect. The tone in ALFA is often exceedingly disrespectful and it encourages others to show disrespect in return, even when it is not otherwise in their nature to do so. Without consequence, we can do nothing about the lack of respect repeatedly presented here. That is clearly not a problem any of us can address in mere posts on a board that allows anonymity.

Maybe, just maybe, without community management, the board can return to the days where there was mutual respect. Unlikely, since there are always those who seem to find self-worth in the belittlement of others. Yet, far more can be accomplished giving respect than by taking it away. Indeed, the measure of a man or woman can oft be found in how he/she treats others when consequence is not in place. Unfortunately, such an environ is not healthy, and eventually wears out even the most honorable of intentions.

It is indeed offensive. Please moderate your sig line, WW, and give me a chance to moderate posts.

I was going to make this post to inform Helios that his post has been moderated and that any more vulgar insults designed to inflame will be cause for an infra strike. I must now regretfully extend the same information and policy to WW.
Enjoy the game

For all the cries of respect White you lack an amazing amount of it. Perhaps the problem is retaliation. If the jackass is getting pleasure out of it. Take the pleasure away. Don't retaliate and don't be a victim.

If the world was full of Wynnas there wouldn't be any war.

Yep, it was intended to be offensive. It's also true. I still think it's hypocritical to see Danubus (aka: Lusipher) making a stink about it when he called me an arrogant ass in a public post yesterday (our illustrious Public Relations Head setting a good example), not to mention when he had an avatar vid of two women making out and refusing to change it.

But, whatever. It served its purpose. Hypocrisy rules...

It's also hypocritical to complain several times about the hostility that is displayed in forums and IRC by some members and then troll around because you don't get your way.
