I love this game. I love the players, the PCs they play, and the DM.

If I could just wave my wand of dergocentrism and have it start 3 hours earlier I'd be there every time :)

RoRo:
While Aliyah would get along swimmingly with Aseel, she would be yet another skirmisher/scout. I don't think it makes sense for the party to recruit another of those, though of course that would be up to them. As mentioned, what they really lack is tanks, because dorfdeaths.

There will not be a full session this Sunday as I will be out of town. I will get on later though. Anyone who wants in the campaign, please show up and we'll see what happens.
Fair enough. I would bring Faith, my planetouched barbarian who is rather tank-ish, but ... she's only 2nd level, so, you know, she's like a plastic tank with training wheels compared to your group. I may drop by on Sunday with Aliyah anyway, if for no other reason than to get a chance to meet all these PCs she's never met before.

NWN2: Layla (aka Aliyah, Amira, Snake and others) and Vellya

We're discussing typical MMO terms here, like "tank". But what makes a tank a tank in D&D?
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

What makes a tank? Heavy armor, combat expertise and a loose grasp on the idea that blood only works if it's still inside your body.

I look forward to seeing who turns up on Sunday and adding some new blood to this freak show.

I hear it tastes like chicken.
The power of concealment lies in revelation.
