Re: ACR v1.92 Released
More serious note, all elf heads and male human heads seem to be working fine. Some of the female (half elf, human, aasimar) heads are glitchy and will be looked at.
Male half elf and aasimar heads were not included as there were definite issues 'converting' them over as non replacements for vanilla heads (conversion was necessary for all of them; these were all replacements for vanilla heads in the original Facelift pack mod).
I would very much be grateful if someone who has Photoshop and decent skills with it could volunteer to lend aid with fixing these (I currently have neither); it looks like we're missing patches of skin/having funky stuff show up on 8 heads due to some difference in resources between ACR stuff and vanilla nwn2, but it could be quite fixable by copying working skin resources to replace the buggy parts.

LOL!
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Re: ACR v1.92 Released
The fellow who did the work has already acknowledged that some heads aren't working and said that he's looking into it, on this same page even.
Would ask that we not laugh at someone who didn't get perfect results on his first project.

Eh, no skin off my nose; it's just Boom being Boom. I'm sure he's not laughing at me but the funny face (besides, I laugh at his funny face every time he posts).
Yeah, not sure how much we can do about these 8 or so heads atm; I do not have Photoshop or photoshop/skinning skillz unfortunately. If someone does, I'm told it's not a difficult fix; please step up and contact myself or a real Tech team member about getting these fixed. Otherwise these heads will likely get pulled (there's still plenty of others that are working, but these buggy ones actually were some of the nicer looking ones)

Re: ACR v1.92 Released
The models with holes in them are probably missing dependencies, so we could accomplish a good deal if we know what those dependencies are called; guess-and-check methods haven't accomplished much. The patchy ones are just failing to apply colors to bits of the skin, and probably just have a bad bit of texture in the skins that hopefully could be swept up in photoshop.FoamBats4All wrote:Could you detail the proposed fix? I lost all of my copies of things to work on it with my hard drive failure, though.

Also, Ith knows I love his face and would totally cyb0r it on a religious level.

((i was unsurprised... and nearly convinced ((before i saw the "LOL!")) that actually B00M was happy about, and was going to make a new toon using that full-of-holes half-undead looking head...))

Hotfix will be rolling out the next time servers restart, fixing read magic (previously having a functional duration unusably short-- now growing to something actually useful) and bardic music (randomly unable to determine how good your best perform skill is; should be better now).
Hotfixes for the _2da and _creatures haks (namely, bad heads and (improved) power attack using one another's names) rebelled on the autodownloader side; they're being held back until we figure out why they're so mad.
