On Pie-Eating-Contest Sabotage:
I have said this to my group and others, and I will say it here - if we had actually managed to rig the pie eating contest, it would have been legendary. I mean, lets face it, ALFA is full of steely-eyed killers who aren't afraid to go toe-to-toe with a balor, or go hunting drow in the pitch-black of the underdark, or whatever. And ALFA has had plenty of wizards and sorcerors whose mystic powers can rip apart the fabric of reality and mold it to their whim. And ALFA has plenty of skulking, dark-eyed, silent assassins who will kill anyone, anywhere, anytime. And we've certainly had our share of fanatical clerics (played one!) who are more than happy to put their own son under their knife on the sacrificial altar while having demon-sex for their goddess (err .. wait, that might just have been me ...)

But rigging a pie-eating contest?!? Awesomesauce. It wasn't my idea (I wish it was) and we didn't have the time, energy, or plan to actually carry it out, but I will regret not fixing that damn pie eating contest for a long time. That would have been legend.

I was so not interested in the whole Calishite expat a**hole concept ... and then I played one, just to get back into ALFA, and ... I laughed and laughed. And laughed. True, I was mostly laughing at other ALFAns whose lives I was making somewhat uncomfortable (no, not CvC, just a little ridicule here and there), but there are a lot of folks whose ego needs a poke now and then (myself included, naturally). It has been remarkably fun.

Anyway, the good news is that we have drummed up some interest and it looks like our un-faction faction may get some DMing in the near future. My thanks for all the support and love.

But Kudos again on creating a group of fun loving adventurers. I imagine there would be more of that type floating around Faerun than some ofthe more serious folks we usually encounter. I created my main PC on BG sort of in the same vein. Very fun to play. Enjoy.

By the way, thanks for having a sense of humor about that. When I type out some of the stuff that Aliyah says, I am usually laughing in real life but I also worry that folks might take offense OOC. So, thanks for having a sense of humor when I poked fun at Xixx. (I am still probably spelling it wrong!)

I would love to. Knock yer socks off DM'ing i would. But too generous. Also can't get NWN2 set up for toolsetting even . Also very little time available as i much rather play than DM. I also think too many players DM and play on ALFA already - i do realize the low player base numbers cause this and that it's very cool when players step up and DM. Being honest about that, as it may seem to myself that i'd be forcing myself to DM when rather playing and that is not a good way to be a DM - And I know there's already very many players who already are DMs who almost never actually do any DMing. So, why do they weild the DM wand? I admit it might happen to me, so until i'm 100% ready to knock yer socks off, I just want to enjoy my PC and try to contribute (soon) to a form of "PC sourced DM'ing". But that's a secret. So don't tell anyone i said that.

Welcome the flames as usual, to those who will pick apart the above many statements and assume false-support, negativity, greed, self-importance, or deception, deep within each one. *sigh* I'm used to it.
