(Just to put everyone's mind at ease: the "bottomless breastplate" acts as a belt. It's added to existing clothes. There are no bared bottoms in our HAKs. At least no completely bared ones.)

And, to further disappoint Castano, many of the skimpy outfit models only render on female PCs (and in many cases, only human/planetouched ones, though quite a few work for elves too). So, the aformentioned hypothetical male prostitute may have to settle for a slightly less eclectic look.

We're limited to working off what is available on nwvault for the most part, so unless the modeller separately adapted whichever outfit they were working on to both genders of EACH of the differently-proportioned races (halforc, dwarf, gnome, elf, halfling, of each gender all require remodelling), someone gets left out. Only a few community content folks are good about covering all of the above: ACME is one of those few, so we've added just about everything they've ever released.

I have gone through the haks systematically for this update, adding human male "placeholder" pieces for every custom armor/clothing/accessory/belt/hat available - so they should all be discoverable via the toolset in a mod that has the right haks in from that point onwards.

Since we're derailing the thread into a horrible trainwreck anyway...

Is there any way to make half-orc skin colours appear properly on clothing? Or wild elf skin, or other non-human skin for that matter? Because if not, the Drow players are going to be in for a surprise once Skullport or an Underdark server opens...

As far s I know that works with most if not all clothing models right now, as long as they were tooled after the fix was in.

I think the biggest culprit people notice is 'warlock' style armour on females with shock white skin, I think this may be the exception now rather than the rule. I have seen blue skinned moon elves hands and skin in various outfits so I know its already at least half fixed

Is there any trick to that then? I still can't get bare hands or feet on a HO. And don't even get me started on clothing that shows flesh other than hands and feet.

Humans, planetouched and halflings use the same models, so they're usually covered. Elves are pretty similar, and popular. So there aren't many issues there. But gnomes, dwarves and orcbloods are getting the short end of the stick.

The "warlock armour" is one of the few pieces of clothing that shows skin while still being available to the "unfashionable" races, but we do have more. And they don't work, unless you're pink. :eew:

Gruu's "naked" appearance is pretty horrid, with massively muscular pale white arms and long pants with a sleeveless top.

I'd like something a bit closer to nudity.

I actually like that outfit, with the sleeveless t-shirt and the arms like a dockworker.
A pink dockworker.

But outfits that allow orcish or dwarven muscle-men or -women to show off a bit, are sorely missed. I think the Shirtless Saga has already been suggested to remedy this (somewhat) for the males.
