Take the armor. Know it is allowed by standards and RP accordingly. So much what we offer ingame is/was quickly made but WITH the best intentions by people all working for free with varying levels of knowledge.

If the armor is approved by Silvanus and sold by the Master Druid of Silvanus, it should be good for a druid.

Actually, the whole forum there is surprisingly opaque.. I ran through six pages of stuff, grbbing all the threads that looked even vaguely relevant, and struck out pretty hard.

Good chance I've no IDEA what half the actual standards are -- am basically just going by whatever I have in the new player section and see popping up as ALFAroolz on my load screens. :D

We have a few armours that get their material tag wrong.
No studded leather armour should be considered "iron" from a game engine point of view.

Well, it's a forum for discussion among the Standards team, not an information resource. I prefer it open to public view despite not really being an example in clarity, so that people can PM their thoughts on heated issues to team members.

Anyway, carry on!

hmm I need to be more specific:

*the armor is tagged wrong

*we will fix it

*wear it till we fix it or you find something better

*probably you will have much better armor or be dead before we fix it

If he's going to be encountering a giant endangered crocodile in the near future, you will let all the snack-sized PCs on server know, right?
Talk less. Listen more.

1. Studded leather make sense IC(at least IMHO), the base of the armor is leather.

2. If i'm not mistaken, FR Mielikki druids are allowed to use metal armor.

3. Do not put more restrictions on druids, they were nerfed enough both from OC and from 3.5 edition. Studded leather is a fine choice that also make in game sense, no need to restrict them to hide armor or worse.
Druids being nerfed from 3.5e pnp needs to be lamented the way Cold War USSR reducing their nuclear arsenal by a single Scud missle needed to be lamented. My pnp campaign nearly switched over to 4e because of the druid player breaking the campaign.

That made me laugh. Sad, isn't it?
