You stepped into the office almost unmanned and at a pivitol point in ALFA. That the position led you to where you are today is not surprising. You had a lot on your plate, and you dealt with it like no other could. You looked toward the future and change within the department, while balancing the current b.s. that popped up, and you did it well. And at the beginning of your tenure, I said YAY!...because I knew this would be the end result. I can only say that after years of service, I am truely sorry that my own meltdown occured during your tenure. THe community does have a tendancy to drive away contributors without an ironclad sheild around them.

Rest, kick back, spend time with Danny-o, and enjoy playa!

Definitely a thankless position. Better keep in touch even if you don't have as active a presence here any more!
