Can we form bridges with other PW's for PC transfers?

I certainly see the technical issues and abuses that might arise. However, on another NWN2 server I play on currently, my PC and his IG fiance took an IC trip to another server to celebrate their engagement. It was loads of fun and has led to other players taking similar trips with their PC's from time to time. However, the "transfer" was accomplished simply by recreating the PC on the visiting server. With appropriate rules and controls I think something like this would be very popular.

It was called CoPAP (Confederation of Planes and Planets) IIRC.

However they only shared membership. Ie if you were accepted in Avlis you were a member of all the other PWs and vice versa.

That's incorrect, you could actually travel with your PC to any CoPaP world, and then back to Avlis, through portals. I know because I did it and so did many others. I have no idea what technical hurdles they had to overcome, but again they have more builders and technical peeps than we have players, so what is possible for such a huge project may or may not be possible for us.

And their in-game economy went to heck when they first did it.... They finally got all the various worlds to comply with the same standards for loot and xp (yes they have standards too).
