I guess this is sort of a spoiler....

Way back when in his Gord the Rogue series Gygax had the gods fight and destroy Oerth, and then recreate it anew, imprisoning Tharizdun (the most evil of the gods) for a 1000 years in the process.... Seriously, couldn't they come up with one original thing?

Well maybe it's an homage. I assume that ALFA canon is not going to follow FR canon into Ragnarok, right?

That tiefling gnome thing was hilarious. :)

Damn that Tiefling v. Gnome video was funny. I am usually a drow girl, but after that video, I may have to go tiefling for the start of 4ed. On the other hand, I can already see that as a DM one of my first major villains will be a gnome ...

I already have a gnome as a major villain in my 3.5 PnP game.... they are scary.

So, basically a WotC version of Fantasy Grounds is coming with the game, or some shat?

Yup. It has all of the rules built in. Every class, ability, spell, feat and everything else. When new books come out the program is updated with all the new stuff.

It costs $10 a month if you prepay a year and $15 if you do not. It also comes with access to a library of rules, changes and online browsable versions of all the books. Actually it's more correct to say the access to the online library of stuff also gives you the gametable program.

So the decision you really have to make is whether a browsable online library of their books and a gametable that has everything at your finger tips (no more arguing with dipshits who have more rulebooks than you!) is worth 10 bucks a month on an ongoing basis.

"no more arguing with dipshits who have more rulebooks than you!"

That in and of itself is worth 10$ a month

My favorite rule. The DM is always right. You don't like it, get the fuck out of my house.
