I never got to see as much as the server as I would have liked but I can acknowledge the level of dedication the DM team put in to making the playing experience something very special.

Thanks all.

Kinda like putting the old dog to sleep for me.

Anyways, Daggerdale was my home at one point, a couple or so years back. If I could put into words, everything that came with Daggerdale since that fated day I crossed servers from The Vast Swamp, this simple goodbye topic would be ten pages long. :D

So many good friends met. So many ups and downs... but in the end, the good things, real and IC, are all that bring some sort of loss-produced nostalgia in this.

I'll always remember.

Yep, it's where Rhekka learned shorty after creation that running into the dagger hills just to see what was there was a BAD idea ...and shortly thereafter that resting didn't recover full health!

Thanks to all who made it what it was for the fun times I won't forget.

Bye bye now, stupid bear and Villain in Black! Smell ya later!
Currently laying the smackdown on Faerun as: Keryn Tel'Jora, who is XXX-TREME!!!.
Currently explaining the meaninglessness of it all as Vizian Nazyr.
Currently pointing out all other characters' shortcomings as Stephen the Archer.

Farewell Daggerdale, the good times had there will not be forgotten, by me at least. Thanks to all the good folks that made it possible, from Memneth, to Esiovm and Thingray, to Squamatus, McJoker, Killthorne, Twiggy, Miz and Biz...all wonderful RPers, and all quality people.

I'm happy to think that Alendir and Lucan will be walking their beloved Dale for many centuries to come, and that the stories they were a part of will be remembered by a good few.

Cheers!

I played on this server maybe 1 or 2 times.

My fault really, too tempted by umm...well, you know. :(

My first trip to DD was some sort of DM run quest I think that started in SD. It was quite memorable, we ran into Twigg's dr00d who escorted the party to the main village just about the same time that Ranger DeWood's elf Zyrax Nailo was busted "checking" in on Arien and *curses can't remember Killthorne's characters name* twins. :P

We found him sitting outside the house wondering if he was about to get pwnt druid style. He claimed the door was unlocked!

Good times indeed, a short stay but the server and players definitely made an impression.
