A NWN1 - NWN2 bridge suggestion, proposal
Moderator: ALFA Administrators
While the new engine have its limitations, i am -certain- that most people will move to it, as stated above. It's called resistance to change, and every community has some. The new graphics really help to make a mood feel better, and if the artistic portrait gets in (like NWN1), there won't be much loss over the old engine really.

Personally I only just got a system that can play NWN2. My current plan is to replay through the OC again then MOTB, after that I'll probably be giving the Toolset another look and see how it goes from there. I'm a terrible BETA tester though. I used to be an analyst for a real estate research firm and one of my main jobs was quality control...that completely burned me out for looking for small details that need fixing.

Hey Rick,
you'd be surprised, but some of us are actually quite happy to try out NWN 2. Personally, I really like the thought of being able to play two characters in ALFA - I mean, that's just double t3h awesome, isn't it?
The idea to spark more enthusiasm for NWN 2 is nice, but I think mostly the NWN 1 crowd at this point are people shunned away by the NWN 2 toolset and waiting to taste the dish others cook, or folks who simply don't have the stuff to run NWN 2.
Anyway, hope to see you on Silvy soon, checking pad in hand

The power of concealment lies in revelation.
