admin have far too much work to do to play.

if they have the time to get in game, then theyre obviously slacking and should be publically deopped before a crowd of tomato hurling forum peasants.

Option Number 1. I believe even the Admin need some time off and to relax, plus being able to get into the game as a player once in awhile will refresh their senses as to how the game works, and then they might see or find new ways to improve the game overall. :D

I think that letting admins play is a no brainer.
Honestly everyone needs to enjoy the game once in a while or else you'll forget what your putting your time in.
Espescially if you only reads the forums.

So let the everyone play as much as they want
It'll give them the players perspective on laws and rules and we'll have a better administration for it.

Exactly. Seems this would be nothing but beneficial if Admin were allowed to play. Otherwise, it seems that ALFA would become nothing but an abstraction to those most needing it to be tangible.

Not only should admins be allowed to play, they should be required to play. 20... no... 30 hours a week! :D

Well, sounds unanimous and generally consusized to me. Thread lock and ADMINs play.

I see no reason why Admin can't play so long as they as accountable... which I'm sure they will be. But fixing a time limit on play time is silly because there is no way to monitor it anyway. DMs are supposed to have limits on play time but that isn't watched so why Admin? I also see no reason to hide by changing GSIDs either since it'll only make the paranoid even moreso. Be up front and open.

You want secret GSIDs so you can play in peace? If you get nagged by Tells, report the player to a DM like any other person would. I honestly don't understand the constant desire for secrecy by those in charge. And they say the players are paranoid? Hmmm....

Let Admin play but be open and up front about it.
