Mibbit Chat Not Letting Me In
Been having this problem since Tuesday trying to log in to chat from the ALFA website. Is it just me?

You can also try going to mibbit.com. Bottom of home page, click 'Chat Now' button. Select sorcery.net from dropdown, enter chat name, click connect. Will connect to sorcery.net in new tab in window, in that tab type '/join #alfa-players'.

Sometimes Mibbit is just crap and takes multiple attempts to get in. I am stubborn and just keep refreshing until I make it accept me!

This chat is a java applet so it actually connects from your navigator to the sorcery.net IRC server.
If you are behind a firewall that filters IRC (at work for example) this may happen.
The best is to use sorcery.net web client here: http://www.sorcery.net/chat_irc.php?tabid=37
I think it goes through their webserver.
