It is worth noting that the 'old boys club' pretty much died with NWN1. The only current admin that held admin positions in the NWN1 days (that I recall) is Hialmar, who has stepped in repeatedly as Infra Admin. Maybe Curm? NWN1 has been gone for awhile, I do not recall who followed as DM Admin after ava. I think Zelnolf held Tech Admin briefly near the end of NWN1 after Murkys long term came to an end.

Nope, not me. I just played some dorf until Shadowdale went down. Then I got sucked into building for TSM, then DMing - because I thought I owed something to the place that had given me so darn much fun. It was never my intention to get dragged into the barrel, but I was asked, politely, and made the mistake of saying yes.

Regardless, the 'old boys club' hasnt had any influence over the Admin team for pretty much all of our NWN2s time. On top of that, if you look at the current list of DMs, you will find plenty of names that have only been members since NWN2 went live and since it is DMs and staff alone that get to vote for 4 out of the 5 admin positions, I fail to see how the old timers like myself have such an overwhelming influence as some claim.

Actually, all members get to vote for both Player Admin and Lead Admin. So 3 out of 5.
