Order of the Stick Kickstarter

Post by KalevD »

I'm not sure how many of you happen to be fans of The Order of the Stick comics, but a few weeks ago the author started a fundraiser on Kicksatarter to get one of his older compilation books back into print.

He reached his target goal in just over 24 hours and has since then amassed enough wealth to print additional stock of every OOTS book written so far as well as some cool exclusive swag for whoever donates.

It's down to the last couple of days now so if you'd like to get in on the exclusive goodies and support the comic at the same time, here's the link:

Haha! yeah, you could say $951,296 our of $57,750 means he reached his goal :P
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

Been quite fun following it. Finally given me a good excuse to order the complete set - been meaning to slowly start getting the books for a while now.
