It's been a few years since I've last read it, but for anyone who enjoys the whole DnD milieu and can be entertained by the tropes, clichés, logical dead ends and all that other jazz, the Dungeonomicon has always been a good chuckle. I only just realized it's on some wiki format these days, used to be that you had to dig into some WOTC forum to see it in its glory.
Anyhow, in the spirit of "share and enjoy" (and if desired, discuss), here's a link to a fairly organized look through the Dungeonomicon and its subsections (and a quick sneak peek series of subsection quotes).

Socialnomicon, "Can I kill the baby kobolds?"
Charactonomicon, "Honestly, I sort of expected my character to be more awesome than this."
Economicon, "100 pounds of gold for a house? How does anyone make rent without a wheelbarrow?"
Maginomicon, "With great powers come laser eyebeams."
....
Anyhow, also found on that wiki is the good old Warrior of Bladereach PrC, which gets joked about from time to time in very small, limited circles.

Note these things aren't "new" by a long shot, but they're good fun all the same.

Re: Dungeonomicon
Actually, this caused us to make a Standards rule that PrCs submitted have to follow a 5th criterion: They must not be Elothar, Warrior of Bladereach.Brokenbone wrote:Anyhow, also found on that wiki is the good old Warrior of Bladereach PrC, which gets joked about from time to time in very small, limited circles.
