BUG?! Starry Sky?

Post by kiyoti »

Whenever I’m outside (exterior) on BG it’s as if my toon is standing in the middle of a starry sky with just the lit windows and street lamps showing. This only seems to happen on BG as I’ve logged into SM, WHL and MS. I’ve reinstalled, twice, restored my PC and have even updated my drivers. All other games run fine and all other NWN2 servers work fine, just not the one that I play on (figures). Anyone got any clue as to how to fix this?

I've seen the same on the south side of Silverymoon, but blamed it on my new videocard not being fine-tuned yet.

Have you found a solution yet, kiyoti? The same problem exists in the toolset, where only shadows and the background are being shown in the preview window. So far, my own google-fu has proven weak... :x

 If you have a nvidia card... I seem to have solved the problem by reverting to the 196.34 beta driver.

Could be possible that the mod got corrupted, so you might want to delete the files of the mod and redownload it.

Perhaps the faulty power supply was the root cause of the issue...

I been having the exact same issue in two other areas up in 6e and it been driving me nuts but then Curm pointed me to this thread which I had missed :P

reverting to Nvidia vfx drivers( 19634 beta) as suggested above solved it for me
