Curm will do those tonight after work.
Beta servers AND OAS are now done and operational.

To configure for the Beta Server PWCs: (since you've deleted the old data, right?) Start a New WG configuration, enter ALFA Beta Servers in the Persistant World field, press the "from URL" button and enter worldgate.alandfaraway.org/beta in the blank. Press OK, then Test & Close. This should set you up to download the most recent PWCs for Baldur's Gate, Western Heartlands, Skullport, and The Moonsea servers.

To set up for OAS2: New WG configuration, enter ALFA OAS in the Persistant World field and enter worldgate.alandfaraway.org/oas in the "from URL" requester.

Thanks to zicada for getting this squared away.

I've uninstalled my previous version as well as manually deleted my Worldgate folder in Program Files. With latest Worldgate version installed, I get the message: Unable to connect to remote server.

Does this message appear after you after you enter worldgate.alandfaraway.org/nwn2 in the "from URL" requester box, when you click the "Test & Exit" button, or when you click "Check for new files" ?

Do the fields get filled in when you use the "from URL" button?

Which fields exactly?

The fields that are filled in are:

nwn user data: C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2
port: 21
file extensions: .pwi = .pwi .dat = .dat .msg = .msg

the transfer mode is FTP

I seem to be having the same problem or at least very similiar. (I have Windows Vista so i've temp. dropped my Virus/Firewalls as well)

I've cleared out my old Worldgate info./uninstalled/ect. then went to the NW vault and downloaded the latest version (1.8)

After I went to the new version, ran it under Administrator then typed ALFA for the first part and copy pasted the URL from our Forum site; Mine reads- Unable to finish transfer (Error 404) File not found

I've tried to wrack my feeble little brain around anything to fix it but, am coming out the loser everytime. Any suggestions?

When you say forum site, you do mean the Downloads section on the actual website right ? Not the forums ?

Its: http://worldgate.alandfaraway.org/nwn2

It really sounds like you're trying with download.alandfaraway.org, since youre getting the 404 (404 means not found)

Yeah, that's what i'm using. I'll try it again when I get home from work but, I'm 95% sure that it is this site i'm placing inside the URL request. As soon as i add it then click OK, before I can even test the website; the box comes up telling me I suck.

So there is a reason that Zicada is top dawg. Though it wasn't exactly what you thought, it was close. When you said you thought the address was wrong , you were absolutely correct. Thanks Zic., give this man a raise!
