Resignation ><

Post by Demson »

Very sorry to be doing this, but real life happened. I'll be dealing with any outstanding issues until we have a new PA, letting any important decisions to him/her.

I really loath doing this, I would have liked to finish what I started and have had only good experiences as PA. It's just that a total lack of time means it's irresponsible for me to stay on any longer, I can't give issues the attention they deserve. I haven't even been able to play in months.

I'll try to stay around and continue to make an effort (I really want to finish what I started), but ever since I got a new job it's just no longer working out. C'est la vie...

I'm still hoping for things to calm down eventually so who knows.

Thanks for the work done, and thanks for realising you can do it no longer.
We'll be here when you get back. :alright:

I'm not sure what else you were involved in but thanks for the work on Admissions.

Hopefully we'll see you around still.

Echoing the comments of others, sorry to see you go from the post, but glad that it wasn't a decision reached on the basis of negative experience or the like. Hope your life settles down to a more manageable pace in the future, and that you're able to glean some enjoyment from your ALFA-hobby again as a result; as a player, admissions staffer, or in whatever other capacity you would like. You are missed, but ALFA's not going anywhere, and shouldn't take priority over more pressing matters.

Take care, and keep in touch when you find spare time.

This sucks, you were doing pretty great there for a while.

Come back and play though when you get more time. Was good working with you mate.

I was verily impressed with your stepping up to the office man. And doubly impressed that you've decided to step out realizing you no longer have the time. A fine show sir, and a damn fine job.

One of the few ALFAns i've not played with, but i think you did a smashing job as Admin and i'll miss working with you. Fair winds!
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

I know I'm out of the loop and unnecessarily bumping this thread, but I would be remiss in not taking the opportunity to thank Demson deeply for dedicating so much of his time and effort to my nerdly hobby. You did a tremendous job as PA from what I could see.

Best of luck with RL and your new job!
