If a bug is a buggy bug (if that makes sense? Stuff that looks like it isn't working the way its creator was trying to make it work.)
http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpbbforum/ ... hp?t=31240

If a bug is a part of the server that kicks current ALFA standards/ideals in its bits
http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpbbforum/ ... hp?t=40800

And if the server is down:
http://www.alandfaraway.org/phpbbforum/ ... hp?t=31243

(or bother me on chat. I tend to reboot servers a leetle bit faster when I get a blinky chat window.)

If you want to prettify areas, log on and pick some, then send me a list. I haven't started making esthetic changes to the module yet, so anything that you look at and feel the need to say "That should look better." is nifty.

Glad to see this is a popular thing, as in the end we're all here to have fun.
There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

+1

Couldn't outsource artsy use of newer placeables etc. to anyone better.

Since then, we've even got new tilesets... Go to town Misty! :)

I miss getting lost in that city. Alas, when I visited the last time, it was quite vacant. I would certainly visit if our campaign allowed and FI were given DM privlidges. I'm just sad I won't be able to delve into Undermountain now that I have a group to play with.

Oh not to worry. There's no shortage of powerful wizards who are just eccentric enough to geas an adventurer into finding their poor pet cat, who they're just sure wandered into undermountain! :o

Just eh... hold still for 10 minutes... got a bit of... y'know... a casting time. >.>

Goppi's fleet foot courier service.

The Seekers of Oghma.

The Guantlet.

If you would like info on any of those, I would be happy to show you in game. I cannot honestly remember how the Guantlet worked without see it first hand.

Goppi's was just a spoof low level adventure. But I had intended on turning it into a static before I left. I could still do that, but it would be a minute whilst other building projects are in the que.

Thanks for approving me to DM on the 'old lady' ... even though I was to cowardly to ask publicly.

;)

Woohoo! Fantastic to see the old City of Splendors making a return! A feat that was the server's main feature back in the day, if I recall ;)

It was even nice to see the old forum restored, I had a good time reading through and reminiscing over the event posts of days-gone-by.

Of course, that does not apply to ayergo's Waterdeep Daily Trumpet series. I know a certain retired paladin who still feels that rag deserved no better than to burn eternal in the fires of Nessus  :P

Best of luck to you all! Time permitting, I may even swing by for old time's sake if and when the new build goes online.

It is online; it's just not re-live'd yet. :P

I logged in the other day, briefly with a "beta" PC ... and it brought back a lot of memories...

Seems dumb maybe but, I don't think I realized how much time I spent in that city both as a player and DM...

Something else that made me think ... I logged into the OAS and happened across an area called the Academy ... it had an alcove for each of the NWN1 servers.

We had a pretty big playground once upon a time...
