Excellent point. You'll be happy to know that our builders help test each other's work. I certainly help test other people's mods and other builders from other teams on more than one occassion have stepped in to give me a hand with/fix something.

I see what you are saying and its definitely a valid point. Dont take my comments as invalidating your excellent idea.

Yes well I edited my initial response. Certainly gets me fired up when I am bustin' my ass fighting toolset crashes to build a mod for someone like this to play on..

Some designated test sessions where a DM can be available (and have a list of things to test) would help alot, especially in beta 1 and 2 servers

I am currently working on an underdark settlement at the moment, but not for ALFA. I was going to build it then ship a copy to ALFA. But, since ALFA's haks and Exodus's haks differ in content and where that content is placed, that won't work. So, if need be, you can withdraw the underdark server or my name as HDM from the underdark server.

GF wasn't referring to you Thang. Your comments were dead-on and did not require any editing.

And Oldgrayrogue, your willingness to ask these questions is refreshing. Hope you continue to find more reasons to contribute and participate in ALFA.

I'm really trying not to get angry here over Danubus' comments, because he's partially correct, but that's ebcause he thinks all I do in my spare time is play MMOs. That is not the case.

In my spare time, I do school. My last motivated posts were July of last year. Why? Because I started school in August. As Thangs said, I build, just not very fast. To bash me on the forums, not an inexperienced builder for ALFA, through thick and thin, with the help of Thinktank and Rusty, brought a server to live in NWN1, is in poor taste, whatever your intentions.

I've built a server alone for a long time. A long time because it's hard as heck to stay motivated solo. I have no desire to build any other part of Faerun as much as TFN, which is another thinkg I agree on with Thangs.

I have easily enough content on my server to go Beta 1 right now. If I pushed really hard, I could get to beta 2 within a month.

....I can't believe I feel like I have to defend myself...again.

I wasnt knocking you and you know that, James. I probably know you better than anyone here and I know your busy and I know in your spare time that you get you like to unwind. You need help, bud. We both know it. You like to build alone, mostly, though. Aki is doing what she can, but shes hella busy too right now and Im just not experienced enough with the toolset to help you.

Ask for some help, man. I want to see TFN go live just as much as you do, but I also know at the rate your getting to work on it its going to take awhile unless you get some others onboard and thats what I was saying.

You dont have to defend yourself at all. We know you got a lot on your plate. Just ask for some help.

I'm glad to see all the work you're doing for ALFA these days, Lusipher, but remember that the people you're writing about are out here reading, too, please. Markie, you're one of the finest builders we have. Perfection (and RL and school and family) take time.

We don't need another quarrel, especially not one Lusipher didn't intend to start, I believe. Best settled by PM, gentlemen.
Enjoy the game

I f anyone wants to volunteer to help build Island Kingdoms please contact me by PM...I've asked before but didn't get much response except for a fine person who helped do a terrain area once.

Project is still alive and was last worked on in June of 2008 (lowhill halfling village exterior completed)
