Though I'm not sure this is the best place to discuss it, the results of the HDM component of the polling are implicit- it would have required 3 votes (from Admin and HDMs) to move the recall to a formal vote of all the DMs and staff. Since 2 Admin supported the recall motion, it stands to reason that none of the HDMs "thirded" the motion (else I, and other staff and DMs, would have been voting).
Pretty sure the list of folks who could have "thirded" the recall motion was pretty short- I believe there are only 4 NWN1 HDMs left (Shadowdale, Northern Cormyr, Sembia, and Moonshaes), and there were, by the DMA's decision, no NWN2 HDMs by the time of the motion. That none of them decided to push the recall to a full vote should not be construed as any abundance of faith or support in the current DMA, only that none of them considered a recall during our transition into NWN2-Live to be a healthy thing for the community. Clearly, the divisive issues that lead to the recall motion are still present. Barring any significant change in conduct, I expect they will continue to recur as time goes on. We'll see, though- it's certainly an area I'd welcome proof to the contrary in.

I'd like to take this time to tell about static information on BG. It is random (and thus not farmable), repeatable, and tied to skills. A complete description is here:

It is of course available if the TSM team wishes to encorporate it into their server.

There's a place I like to hide
A doorway that I run through in the night
Relax child, you were there
But only didn't realize and you were scared
It's a place where you will learn
To face your fears, retrace the years
And ride the whims of your mind

Not to derail the thread, but I'll certainly take a look Ayergoayergo wrote:I'd like to take this time to tell about static information on BG. It is random (and thus not farmable), repeatable, and tied to skills. A complete description is here:

When I am done my first round of statics, I'll check yours out

I am also scripting a combat dummy with test results like the one in Daggerford, I'll make that avail when and if it works.
When Ava first introduced the DM code of conduct, I mentioned this exact thing. But at the time, all Admin had to be DMs as well, so it really wasn't an issue. I don't think anything has really been enforced from the DMA Code of Conduct. It was really just a 'guideline' and a "ah, but if you do this, I can punish you" sort of thing.Rick7475 wrote:Yep, your're right, guess we need an Admin code of conduct

The "problem" is being adressed and worked on....though I don't see eye to eye with Rusty sometimes, I think I do in this issue. I thought he adressed that the issue was being worked on fairly well in his last post....
Patience is the key. Cangrates to the level 3-4's....I'm midway 3 and have been playing my current PC since Mid-Jan. I am also well below the minimum wealth for my level...and this is in the NWN1 platform. Am I saying this to bitch? No. I am simply saying this to give a little perspective....you guys obviously never played in Daggerdale.
I am certain the creators/builders need your feedback about what to tweek...that is not a contention, and I am happy that all of those who waited for NWN2 servers are now playing. Enjoy!
But don't abuse.
I think Vendrins post was very well put as well....though I am a bit dissappointed in many of the posts I see in this thread...and that includes the response of Rusty. We seriously don't need a flame thread. With all of the time each has spent reading and posting in this thread....many issues could have been fixed. Building and fixing and scripting is a choice...and I have often erroniously bashed people who sounded off without doing much else. But we all can do a little something here and there to help out, even if it is just to write a convo in word and email it to the appropriate person.
Again, it is a valid concern....but a concern that should be THE LAST CONCERN in a high RP environment....only when the encounters become unbalanced...(as it looks like with the case Vendrin states) due to lack of gained wealth should it really be an issue. I have confidence that the problem will be adressed shortly. Till then, be a little less demanding, a little more understanding, Cause as Vendrin eloquently put it...this is a work in progress.
And from what I've seen (comparitively), Rusty's response was pretty tame.

*gets marshmellows*
Vendrin seems so docile, maybe he is getting old. Mik is just the same fireball...and Amar ... Hey, congrats on getting hitched.
I can't wait to see how this turns out.
Flame fests are good for a couple things...
1. Making ALFA look like its run by angry adopted children.
2. Revealing the worst of someone's personality. (I know that for fact.
