The good side of this is that it really makes ALFA stand out as something more professional...at least on the outlook.

It is as professional as the people who donate their time Dming, Admining, Building, Scripting, ect. I think the site we have now does reflect our proffessionalism quite nicely! I know when I first arrived I was greatly impressed with our infrastructure...and I think because what we have here stands out a bit more, we are the better for it. The money for a rig to host is quite tempting, but given all the clauses within the contract, I am more than content to stay as we are.

Could all the people that were for going to IGN re-state their advice in light of the things we found in the TOS ?

Wynna also found that we would give IGN the rights to reproduce all our content where they want. I hadn't seen that when I read the TOS.

Well the deal breaker is our election cycle for the Infra admin position. If you decide not to run again for whatever reason, IGN may not like handing the keys over to a new IA every 6 months, so to speak.

Let's just leave things as they are and prod us every now and again for donations.

Which means that it's time to pass the hat again, or the chapeau. I'll ask, pretty please, so that Hialmar doesn't feel like he's standing on a street corner in white face paint walking against the wind with a top hat upside down in front of him and some seed coins in there.
