I rather agree with Vendrin, why are we not taking submissions from all who care to put up their art?

Mik,

The Web Dev Staff / Graphic Design Staff are talking amongst themselves, and are delegating different members to contribute in different ways. After the 21, there will be a few submissions from everyone as far as banners, layouts, et cetera, that we will look at, and then let the community take a gander at. AFAIK, Roek is just trying to get some community input for his designs.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Roek.

You're completly correct Ecclesia.

I just wanted to get the ball rolling like you said so I took on the task of the banner and wanted to involve the community. This does NOT mean that I'm the one creating the banner and no one else. If someone else comes up with a better one, that will be the one on the new website, simple as that.

A dragon would be great. If we could somehow work a dungeon into the graphic as well we'd have the two main components of this game!!!

We should have TWO banners:

First, we have a banner for non-members who know nothing of ALFA: This banner would have a brave hero fighting an evil dragon in a scary dungeon. This banner lures people in with the "promise" of Dungeons & Dragons, the fantasy adventure game!

Second, we have a banner for accepted members: This banner would have a full party of adventurers sitting around a tavern table with mopey expressions on their faces, babies in their arms, and foam-weapons on their backs. This banner acknowledges the "reality" of ALFA, the nerfed fantasy soap-opera!

Aye party, or something suggestive of what ALFA2 holds to offer is good as well. Perhaps even something transitive like; a shiny new fortress built on top of crumbling ruins, an ALFA2 hero at an ALFA1 hero's funeral pyre, an excessively demonic setting centered on the summoning of ALFA2 or a baby ALFA2 eating its recently pregnant mother, ALFA1.

P.S. As an after thought maybe stalwart walled cliffs defending of hordes off crazed loonies *shakes head*. Ahem sorry! too much time spent as an OAS DM. He he!
