A Bad Day for Bandits

Post by Magile »

A notice has been placed upon every bulletin board within the city of Baldur's Gate. The cursive notes, while written well enough, often take a double-read before fully comprehending the wishes of the writer. It states the following:
Notice Board wrote:Dear berrani (that is you, if you are wondering),

It has been continually brought to my attention that both the incompetent Watch and talkative berrani at the Friendly Arms Inn have a similar complaint that they must constantly remind me about. I am certain you have heard these complaints as well -- bandits and more bandits. I am becoming annoyed more and more as they walk past me, asking "is it done yet?" No! Of course it is not done! Do you know how many are out there? LiS iha ddae iima Sdr bdt ed ihii 'aiS bd rdbdad haid Sdrd esrizzribd!

... Apologies. This is my attempt to have these loud-mouthed oafs off my back once and for all, as I am assuming you shall be wishing as well, no? The scourge these bandits create shall finally end. All who wish to partake in the removal of the vermin shall meet at the Friendly Arms Inn in a few days passing. From there, we shall set out to right these wrongs (that is what you berrani prefer to do, yes?) and, most importantly, acquire gold while simultaneously shutting these monkeys up.

(( I have had static quests for Dessarin's Scourge and Bountiful Bounties for a very long time, and while patient, I feel IC reasons should push my PC to complete these. Yes, this is an adventure set out to beat two difficult static quests that should yield a pretty good story. If you wish to begin Dessarin's Scourge, you may find the NPC in the FAI. If you wish to do the Bountiful Bounties, it is the final raid/bounty option for the Watch. If you do not have these but wish to participate, I am sure we can ICly arrange some form of payment so we can all adventure and enjoy this. I would like to do it this weekend, whether it be Saturday or Sunday. To those interested, please post times (and your time zones) for availability.

Thank you,

T ))

(( I'll be delaying this until next weekend. January 12th or 13th for those interested. Please list best day available and time available. The server possibly coming down Saturday, and definitely coming down Sunday, is proof enough that this weekend will not work right. ))

edit: (( I've been told that Dessarin's Scourge is also bugged. We may just stick with the Escaped Convicts for now))
