Notices posted about the city

Post by paazin »

Posted throughout the city in various inns, taverns, trade halls and outside places of worship.
To ALL INTERESTED:

The Flaming Fist is having an auction of goods confiscated from enemies of the City while in their duties employed within.

Come one and come all for a fine deal on remarkable curios that could be found nowhere else, at incomparable prices!

To be auctioned, items of unique history and capability, doubtless of interest to all sorts, be they merchants in search of an exotic item, mercenaries or adventurers seeking weaponry, or the learned, for arcane and prized writings.

It shall be held promptly at seven bells in the evening within the High Hall (also known as the Ducal Palace).

Proceeds are to be given to be given to Father Bastille Dawkin's Boarding-house for Orphaned Children, minus fees paid to the City and the Company.

Affixed to the notice is a seal showing the emblem of the Flaming Fist

Note, we will be tentatively scheduling this on Sunday 25th of March (roughly) afternoon/evening US time.

There will likely be ~20-30 lots available from values of 1 gp to . . . (don't ask) of all sorts.
People talk of bestial cruelty, but that's a great injustice and insult to the beasts; a beast can never be so cruel as man, so artistically cruel.

A addition is seen mentioning a change of venue, stating instead it will be taking place in the Manycoins House, across the street from Sorcerous Sundries.

Is there a specific time for this and would it be possible to have the session stretch into US East coast prime time (ie after 8pm EST) when many "regular" BG players play?

It is beginning right now, at 6 PM EST. I expect it to continue on for a few hours.
