A Land Far Away

Several notices have been posted in major cities and towns near Baldur's Gate. Verified sightings of new creatures to the area have persisted near major roads, particularly between Baldurs Gate and Beregost, and between Beregost and Gullykin. Trade caravans have reported problems in new areas along the Trade Way. Though the creatures have not been reported to be exceedingly dangerous to armed parties of adventurers or well guarded caravans, extra caution is warranted, particularly for lone travelers.

Travelers are warned to be extra cautious, and numerous queries requesting scout reconnaissance and armed escorts for caravans have been seen.
