A cloud passes over the face of Selune. In the darkness covering the docks of Baldur's Gate, a darker shadow disembarks from the ship newly arrived from the Silver Marches. The image seems to scan the ground then moves off toward the upper city.

Hours later after checking tracks around both gates, Elmahrel is fairly certain his quarry has gone north. He gazes north and then turns back to the city, to the inn. Sometimes a hunter must wait for the quarry to come to him.....
