Ok, we'll need to schedule the actual battle(s) now.
In-game we tentatively agreed for next Sunday. Would Voric still be unavailable then? I could do Monday evening too.
Also, many undead 'stirred up' by the lich's actions around Tempus's Tears are spawned. Please do not attack any around the central keep (the one with the bridge and mote) unless you want to die. Edit: On the other hand, server resets will nuke these. I'll hop on and place encounters from time to time during the week.

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
Indeed it did. I directed Paaz to it a couple of months back and he was kind enough to slide it into the mod. Thanks for your work on that btw, it is greatly appreciated!ElCadaver wrote:Is that the Tempus tears I built? Did it get in?

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
Just wanted to drop in and apologise for this weekend, I'd forgotten I had family visiting and then taking my fiance and I away (not a 'yay fun' holiday, more of a 'lets get all the relatives together and interrogate you' kind of thing...)
Sunday wont be any good for me unless its either a) finished by 7pm GMT or b) starts after 11pm GMT as I've got pnp this week. But otherwise I'd be fine on both days

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
Hola,
No idea whether I'll make it, weekends are big time family stuff...
That said, is there any kind of "Tempus Tears, the town according to ALFA" common knowledge that can be shared? I am getting the impression Tempus worshippers hang out there maybe.
The Volo "canon" is kind of ludicrous. Steal too many rocks, meet dragon. Google "tempus tears" or better, "tempus tears scribd" for a pdf of the relevant sourcebook.
So yeah, knowing the ALFA take maybe helpful for those, like me, unclear on what to think of the place. If avoiding, visiting, defending it to last breath, or anything in between.

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
I can be available just about any night after 9pm Eastern (NY) time, although this coming Saturday is no good for me. Weekend days are mostly impossible for me. Too much stuff going on with kids, sorry.
Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
For the lichings, I'd expect we'd want Olaf, Perseph, Aelynthi, Jendari, Berendil, and Scisha? Anyone else? Can you all make this Sunday?
Then Monday for Tempus's Tears? Voric should be there, but OGR isn't available on weekends.

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
will the two events concerning the lich and the village IG-wise happen at the same time?
Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
I think it is entirely possible I will be unavailable Sunday until later in the evening EST.
I hope that doesn't mess things up for folks, I've been trying to do a lot of prep-work beforehand so everyone is well prepared for the encounter. I will be around just as soon as possible but the 13th is my garrison parade for Remembrance day up here in Canada. I shall be marching and such for the better part of the day.

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
If there is "stuff afoot" Monday, I could probably make it in the Eastern evening. I get the impression the event is split in some kind of "appropriate challenges for groupings by level" or something like that, though I guess am unclear if it's almost like simultaneous in terms of IC time if I get puny's question right.
That is, if you're in event A, those events are kind of occurring at the same time as those of event B. So don't be in both events. Or don't talk to the B folks about what happened in A... or sell them loot from it... or whatever.
Yeah, I guess I am confused, hah! Though I do think I like the idea, if I have the idea even half right!!!

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
Since i confused atleast one:
The first impression i got was that the highlvls will go and headbut something CR wise to their lvls (the lich) while, at the same time as the lowlvls have a CRwise encounters againt the lichs minions, IG happening simultaneously.
Question more clear?

Re: Trouble in Tempus's Tears
In character, this is so. BB's question is if, because of real-world schedules, it will actually be able to happen at the same real-world time (and how we resolve play in between the potentially-separate times). A lot of the players manning the palisade are in Europe while a lot of the players performing the assault are in the U.S. (with events on the day blocking off big chunks of time-- as noted by Audark and BHM).puny wrote:Since i confused atleast one:
