A Call To Arms! The Orc Invasion Cometh!

Post by CloudDancing »

*posted in small handouts in local ins in Rivermoot, Khelb, Everlund, Neseme', Auvendell, Rauvenwatch, and in the construction site of Quaervarr."
This is a Call to Arms to all people of the Marches.

Khelb has fallen to the Orcish horde. Lives have been lost, livestock, and goods burned.

The Horde: They are a confederation of painted Orcs of great strength, Gnolls, Goblins, Ogres, and now Frost Giants. They claim to seek to revive the one called Obould Many-Arrows.

They are coming now into your towns after attacking outside of Winter's Edge, Settlestone, and even attacking the borders near Quaervarr. They are terrorizing the trail into the Frost Hills and even have taken up in the Hills above Rivermoot.

This is a warning to the people of the Marches from one who has seen all. Arm yourselves. Do not expect the Legion to come save you for they have ignored these attacks and ignored our reports and pleas.

If you cannot defend yourselves pack up your families and take shelter inside the walls of Silverymoon and outside the castle keep.

Perhaps if those in charge can see the people made homeless and those made starving by this rapacious horde of Orcish rage they will finally call forth their Legion and their Knights to step up and win this war!

I am just a simple scout and priestess, a vanguard of this War, but by the word of Angharradh, I, Elrien Aelaes of Everdusk Hall, swears these words are true. Take up arms! Do so now and save the lives of your families and your people.
*it is signed in an Elvish hand with the symbol of Angharradh scribed.*
