A Land Far Away

As he walks down the halls of the Sages library, heads turn to regard him... despite his rather impressive Mithril chain, the dust covering his cloak, and the dried mud still attached to his boots making a weird noise each time he takes a step in the marble floor.

The elf is seen looking into arcane related books, searching reading... His bow and quiver standing by his side...

An odd scene no doubt to most of the lore seekers that enter those chambers. More even for those who usually visit the University libraries where Sywyn has been seen questioning, and studying of late.

IC -

Searching for more sources Sywyn keeps looking through the shelves at the University. A loremaster passes by and he asks if there are any sources making reference to Golems and their creation. His curiosity seems genuine, even though many would wonder what an elf who obviously makes his life in the woods wants from such type of knowledge...

IC - A desk seem covered by scrolls and a book with hand written notations and recipes, a mage would notice it to be a spell book, but Sywyn seems rather lost as he reads through it. It certainly doesn't seem to be his but one thing is for sure, he studies it for hours patiently, trying to understand what sort of knowledge may be found in those pages...

((I'd maybe ask the input of a DM on what sort of Knowledge Sywyn would find in his research in the Vault of Sages and University library.))

IC - Laniara seems to be seen quite often with Sywyn inside the halls of the university, leading him through the huge halls and corridors, he seems always concentrated in what she is saying. Down in the library studying or reading and writing some scrolls the both seem to be concentrated in the task ahead, even though a smile or a chuckle seem to break the focus from time to time.

IC - Of late, the half-elven scout known to many as Del can be seen spending time at both the Vault of Sages as well as the Lady's college, inquiring after a tutor and reading up on Arcane theory and practices. She can be seen often with several scrolls layed out in front of her, attempting to cross reference the symbology to explanations in texts of magical lore stacked nearby.

She is also becoming frequently noted for asking in various places around the Gem as to who would be agreeable to taking on a commission for a permanant enchantment placed upon her finely crafted longbow. Her search appears to be taking her through such places as Everdusk Hall, the Feathered Ash, the Lady's College and even Mielikki's Grove.

IC - Possibly in anticipation of her impending discharge from the Argent Legion, after finally completing her extended tour of duty, Del has been an even more common sight at the Lady's College, either being tutored by the graceful and well known mage, Laniara, or studying on her own in the library, surrounded by books and scrolls, taking copious notes and practicing gestures and pronunciations of the words of power. In addition, she's tacked up notes on the various school notice boards inquiring after anyone among the faculty or student body who would be capable and willing to enchant her longbow.
