*an invitation sent to various notables and oddly a wide range of people from the lands surrounding, is now the talk of the town. Finely-dressed nobles to ragged peasants are clustering and travelling toward the Gem.

Along the roads the Inns are becoming full up and many are camping by roadside and outside the surrounds of Silverymoon awaiting a chance to witness this shining event.

Unfortunately there are those that will seek to exploit the pure hearts of these noble pilgrims and make a profit. Rangers and travelling kin are needed to help the faithful find their way to the Gem and protect the roads in response.*
The populace is invited to witness the ceremonies honoring the the ascension of one of the cities most beloved Knights. Knight-Errant Alryra Ashedown. She will now be known as Lady Sir Alyra Ashedown and known as dedicated servant to the confederated Silver Marches.

All friends and family are invited to attend this event to be held in the gardens outside the High Palace. The Lady Alustriel Silverhand herself, as well as our Lord Taran Horneblade shall be in attendance as well.

Note: No weapons will be allowed to be drawn during this occasion. All blades must be sealed to their scabbards with beeswax and be examined by the guard for entry. We also ask you leave magical beasts and animal friends behind to prevent scuffles.
All magic staves and arms must be offered up for examination and may be confiscated temporarily if found to be questionable, Any attempts to disrupt or disturb the peace in this event shall be reward with a swift depositing of said miscreants into the cells for due process.
(Event will happen at 9:00 pm EST, all DMs and Players are welcome to join us. We simple ask that you refrain from CvC inside the city. IF you happen to see a player you wish to apprehend or murder or whatnot, PLEASE call a DM and ask them first. Please however do not do so while we are in the middle of the ceremony. Please talk to Dm_Cloud for more information, as well I really need to speak with JLM and Regas in IRC asap if you are reading this. While we want everyone to be present and we know we are an international PW, the time is firmly cemented for the convienence of SSM. please I would ask that AcadiusLost or Zicada be around for support for server issues.)

((Saturday is my birthday party with the family so my likely attendance with this is doubtful, but if I can't make it just assume the gnome is in the crowd somewhere behind all the tall people in the way.))

*a tall slender figure in sparkling mithril armour, his forest green cloak gently rustling in the wind examins the notice before smiling a little under his cowl before speaking softly*

It's about time

((I'd like to be there if I can, sounds good!))

*A half-elven scout of the Argent Legion petitions for and receives orders to permit her to act as guide and escort to any wishing to travel from the western territories, and as far north as Settlestone, in order to ensure their safe arrival for the event, but her request to attend the actual knighting ceremony is denied on grounds of security requirements in the to-be-expected nealry depopulated Rivermoot at the time of the event*

((I'd love to be able to help anyone who wants to get from the western areas to the Gem, but unfortunately the timing sux for Israelis and GMTers in general who work sundays. This escort duty can be either with PCs or NPCs, it doesn't matter to me, I just want to be part of it in what small way I can. 'Grats to Lady Sir Ashedown.))

Clueless as usual, at Rivermoot where he's stopped for supplies after consulting at the Oak:

*The rather imposing figure of Tahir, Windwalker of Shaundakul continues to gleefully clear the roads of monsters, oblivious to any affect this may have on events he's not up to date on*

Sywyn receives the news and after considering the situation, he offers himself to aid in this process. Knowing the lands well and that it is likely some elves will also join this meeting, sywyn prepares himself and checks his gear before he heads out to scout and lead some commoners through the forest.

((Unfortunately just noticed 9pm EST = 2 AM GMT, and I work at 8 am, this makes it impossible for me... Have fun guys...))
