A Land Far Away

Notable personages assembled outside the gates of Rivermoot, where Mathias Devron was publicly hanged by order of General Irizarry. Unfortunately his neck was not broken as the length of rope into the tree was much too short, and he turned purple and slowly suffocated to death.

His body was ordered displayed for a full tenday in front of the gates.

Reactions were mixed.

It seems in defiance of General Irizarry's order, the body was cut down by order of the Marshall of Rivermoot.
