Ward stood outside the doors the the great library dressed in his prayer robes. Armour would serve no purpose here, nor would it be appreciated. As he passed the threshold into the library, the smell of old books and ancient lore washed over him. It reminded him of the library in the Tower of Skulls, where he had spent many days learning the ways of Kelemvor before his acceptance to wear the very robes he had on this day.

He approached a scribe and asked for directions, Ward was looking for lore about animals and monsters of the avian type. The scribe directed him to a section called Monstrography, and was left to himself. It must have been the prayer robes that relaxed the scribe into letting Ward search alone. A rare smile breeched the usually serious face as Ward recalled the events he had witnessed with Sylvanie and Gruu, how woud she ever report on that he wondered, poor Syl. Hopefully he could find some clues to the mystery and shed some light on the strance occurance.
