A man in green plates of armor was speaking openly against those rumours. He claims to have been to settlestone and gave rightful burial to said Sir Whitsword. He would say that when they reached the battleground Sir Whitsword was laying still in his armor and in his hand a long blade.
He would say that the orc horde never had a chance to difile that hornorable man and that he fought barefuly to until he fell. Clearly even after he fell the Orc still feared him far too much him to touch him.
I hope he did indeed fight bravely to the end.

It would likely become clear in conversations with any of the Church of Helm that Rathalan Whitsword would wish to be interred in the crypts at The House Invicinble alongside prior generations of fallen Whitsword Watchers and legendary Defenders of the Silver Marches such as Lemuel Ogdenstorm.

A reminder to TSM DMs, Marcus is specifically interested in either hosting the funeral, or speaking at it. Please keep me in mind.

A legion scout has been spreading the word among those who travel the roads or the back trails with wanting information on dragon sightings or signs of their feeding. All information can be forwarded to legion headquarters to the attention of Scout Packard.

Rumors of A battered and bleeding legion scout, rumored to be infamous "Bullseye" are abound about the hanging of a ogres head in a tree near Rivermoot. Run thru the local taverns.

There is a brief excitement as a bar brawl of epic proportions spills out into the street outside the dwarvern bar "The Hammer and Helm". Shouts of "Hammerstriker!" and "For the legion" were heard. Curious onlookers noted that most of the furniture was fairly well destroyed but dwarves in the city have been good spirits since, remarking that it has been too long since there has been a good brawl.

The dwarf stonemasons who have been toiling at the farmstead just East of Rivermoot by day, and drinking in the Rivermoot tavern by night, were seen leaving the town with all their tools and a small contingent of armed guards. One was overheard telling the others of "... muc' stonewurrrk ta be doon, an' extry ale rations promised by Clan Battle'ammer." The group departed, with much clattering of cartwheels and singing of dwarven chants, headed to the North.

People in High Hold speak about half-elven bard who recently came to the small settlement with distressing news. The bard claims to arrive from Wintersedge where the elves where struggling to help a few of forest dwellers in Moonwood to deal with orc attackers with little success so far.

It seems that more than few groups of orcs , ogres and trolls invaded the forest from the north to steal lumber. Worse than that, the dryads who gathered to stop the attackers were raped and then killed, their life trees were taken to lumber as well.

So far the elves and human protectors of Winteredge are hopeless and turned to seek aid from external sources.

The Angler's Inn on the Rauvin's South bank at High Hold saw some excitement. Near to sundown a group of dwarfs and men approached the tavern bloodied, weary but with victory twinkling in their eyes.

One of the dwarfs purchased a whole roasted boar to feast and a cask of ale to toast in celebration.

As the night wore onward utterances like, "Them lizerds got gutted good! Right what they deserved!"
and "I didn't see none cowerin'! They all came at us spears thrustin'!" became common.

Only minor damage was reported in the victory celegration. One dwarf was said to break a table with his forehead just to prove he could do it, then promptly fell unconscious and was dragged out by his comrades.

Rumors begin to swirl and then die just as quick of a group of adventurers who attacked and killed a blue dragon far to the east of Silverymoon near the Nether mountains.

Much gold and magic was recovered... but as days pass no one sees boastful adventurers or shops awash with dragon gold. Eventually the whole thing is dismissed as a nonsense.

Argent legion scouts reported that a group of red cloaked and hooded figures were seen traveling deep into the hills of Fourthpeaks. Organized patrols who later came to scan and search the area found two of red cloaked figures dead - most likely by the gnolls who seems to have descended in great numbers from hills.

No reports or any kind of information about the mysterious group.

A lone scout from the legion outpost in Fourth-peaks arrived to Rivermoot and reported that a caravan with military supplies to the the post fall into the hands of hill giants who took over the narrow road in the hills.

It is rumored that the local sergeant complained about insufficient resources to deal with such issue and sent a messenger to the legion headquarters to ask for assistance.

Meanwhile, he has addressed some local heroes and offered two thousands coins reward to the group that will manage to remove the threat, and another thousand coins for the retrieval of the goods and the men who were perished for proper burial.

A man trvaled down to Rivermoot. Dragging a wagon full of arms and the bodies of fallen legion man. Returning all that was recovered to the legion.
said man requested that any reward offered should be sent to Settlestone to help with the rebuilding efforts.

More than that though the man has warrned. "Walk lightly as you travle north as the giants are not all gone." After a short blessing over the fallen the man made his way up north once again.

((OOC: Loots and bodies were binned in RM))

Word has it that a troup of dwarfs from the mountains fought and slew more than a scor of orcs and gnolls that had been gathering near the human settlement of High Hold.

The stout folk drank long into the night, draining more than one cask of ale among the four of them.

A lone heavily armored half orc was seen traveling up north into the hills of Fourth-peaks. Some reports suggest that the half breed encountered a small mixed group of ogres and giants and quickly dispatched them, showing impressive fighting skills and summoning powerful divine magics to his aid.

According to different rumors , the half orc himself was seen traveling in the company of few ogres pointing and showing them different locations around the hills.
