Holbek Lairdmoor, the youngest son of the Watchknight Rullik Lairdmoor and brother of Legion Officer Gareth Lairdmoor did not return from a patrol that set out North from the Fourthpeak garrison last ride.
It is said that Lieutenent Lairdmoor is distraught from the absence of his brother, who he personally encouraged to take the posting in the northern wilds. He is offerring an undisclosed reward for information regarding his brother and the other members of his patrol.
Those asking around Fourthpeak are given dire warning from Hrafen Jye regarding recent frost giant sightings.

Re: Reward: Information regarding Holbek Lairdmoor
Hrafen Jye, while performing the sad work of preparing young Holbek's personal effects for transport to The House Invincible, came across the junior officer's journal.
The leather journal, bearing the Hawk's Head crest of the Lairdmoor family estates, was meticulously kept throught Holbek's posting at Fourthpeak.
Hrafen has decided to leave the journal open for perusal as a small number of men have presented themselves at the fort seeking information that could lead to the reward offerred by his brother.
The final entry:
" Great Guardian be praised. The sun rises weak but bright in the east as my company sets forth this dawn. I have reviewed in detail the expeditioning gear that should be able to carry us into the frozen and across any open crevasse or other ice feature we should find northward and selected my men with care.
I thank you oh Everwatcher for this opportunity to keep safe the margins of our holy realm.
In Duty and Vigilance,
Holbek Lairdmoor"
