Word from Fourthpeak

Post by CloudDancing »

Word is among the tavern keepers, Fyevara of Fourthpeak has reported three missing caravans that have left the watch point and that did not arrive in Settlestone in the last few days.

A great amount of food and supplies have disappeared due to this and all are suffering as well as the mystery of the missing teamsters and their wagons. While the plauge of Ogre-kin has subsided to some degree, the undead and Gnollish involvements are possible.

Fye is seeking a professional team of mercenaries to investigate this disappearance and they will be compensated accordingly to their successes.

((All interested parties please organize yourselves prior and be in Fourthpeak, tonight, Friday the 26th, at 7:00pm PST. Be prepared to spend at least two hours in RP. Please note, if you are of a weaker constitution, do not venture forth to Fourthpeak without proper and dedicated protection, the road is long and perilous.))

Word filters in to Fourthpeak and Rivermoot from what scouts or hunters are able to brave the trail, that at least one supply of food reached Settlestone. It is reported that a few nights prior, a figure appeared at the gates, announced himself as 'The Wanderer', and began to unload no less than a hundred meals worth of food.

Word has it that after suggesting the food be carefully rationed until more caravans arrive, he was offered a bed for the night, but was already gone by the morning. If asked about what road this Wanderer took, the scouts reply that his only words about the matter were apparently that "The Keeper's Dale is nice in the spring."
