Demonic creatures have been apprearing across the silver marches attacking people, and searching for some kind of stone. Several groups are now eager to give them what they want so the attacks stop. The types of creatues appearing are now more fearsome and ferocious, and they are more desperate in their search for this stone.

Unbelieveably, appearances have even been seen to tak place within the wards of Silverymoon, though the ladys college will not comment on this rumor.

Some Druids of good aligned deities have been heard to have had visions of fiery destruction across the silver marches, caused by "a large angry female", though they do not know whom they refer to, nor can remember anything of their visions after they happen. This information has reached elvish ears, and they are interested and have been inquiring in local taverns for retellings of the visions.

A lizardman was killed recently, wearing crude armour made from troll skin! This is astonished locals, as the lizardmen are known to flee trolls at the first sight.
