After a long time away, i had the urge to visit old friends... and poor Nyca gets booted evertime i log her on[You were Booted]. Any ideas why? I don't recall being told i had detention after school so ill assume i'm just doing something wrong... derp?

Yes, this is probably because you switched CD-Keys. If you log on IRC and find someone from tech to talk to in real time, they can probably help you out.

that's probably it since i logged in via Steam... i just need to update it on my profile?

If you know what your old CD-Keys were, update those in nwncdkey.ini. Then you should be able to log in.

If you don't know what they were then things are more complicated and will require direct changes to the database (which would be best to have you on IRC for real-time discussion for).

It's far simpler if you do have the old CD-Keys, so if you have those written down somewhere or saved away, just update the ini file and you should be set.

If you can't change your CD-Key locally or can't head to chat, just PM me your public CD-Key (along with your GSID) and I'll update it in the database.

Here is how you compute it.

If your CD Key is:
WFWT7MPYJ4DMKV7N

You take the 2nd letter, then the 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th and the 16th and you get:
FTMY4MVN
which is your public CD key.

pm sent

Should be updated.

Rick 7475 has exactly the same issue.

I have modified his cdkey yesterday.

Does he still have the problem ?
