A Land Far Away

I need a little tech. help and I am not sure where to post this.

I am trying to determine if there is something out there that I can download that will allow me a first person view from my pc on ALFA1. What I mean by that is something that will allow me to see through his eyes and not see the back of his head, etc...

Anyone know how I can go about this?

There was a hak that allowed it and possibly an Override...

Check the bioware vault...

look for camera control or something similiar.

No personal knowledge, but something "relatively promising" from the Vault... though whether it only worked at 1.68 back, or if it needs updating for 1.69 forward, I can't say. Little leery of testing the exe file associated with the hak, not quite clear if it does, as advertised, modify the nwmain.exe, or if it's actually haks in the exe. Maybe it means you could even use this without server side haks being in place for it (i.e., sorta like an override).

I guess checking that out, backing up your NWN1 files, doing whatever virus scanning you think advisable etc. would all work into any "safe" testing of this to see if it's any good. It may be that the Bioware forums could get into the topic of camera haks, can't say, never been a topic I was interested in! Well rated on the vault, but no personal knowledge I guess... good luck.
