shad0wfax bi-weekly low level campaign RESUMES 11/29 or 12/6

Post by shad0wfax »

Beginning this Saturday, 2014-09-27, I will be starting a campaign for low level characters. (level 1 and 2 to start with).

We will meet at 10:00 PST (UTC-8) and sessions will typically last for 4 hours. Assuming that we will have at least one European player, I want to set an absolute session length limit of 6 hours, and strive to keep sessions to 4 hours when possible.

We will meet every other week (mostly), and I will use this thread to update any changes to the session. There will be ad-hoc opportunities for all characters in the campaign to participate one on one or in smaller groups with me during the interim, without a formal schedule, but the full group sessions will remain on a schedule.

As the levels of the PCs grow in the campaign, new additions to the campaign will be considered.

Please respond here if you would like to be a part of the campaign and if the times of operation will work for you.

Provided I can get the HDMly exception to participate in events regardless of travel restrictions, I have a level 2 Sunite paladin on TSM who I would bring to this.

Granted. You will be able to play your low level second PC on BG during my events and be validated to do so for the duration of the events. (Obviously, server rules prohibit your lower level from hanging out on BG outside of the events while Persephone remains active.)

I think that means 5 PM sat for me... which means, if I'm home tomorrow at this time, i'll be making a noob to try this out.
I'm open for suggestions on class, race, height, gender and sexual orientation should something specific be more fitting to the group.

Well, the two PCs already posting are a Sunite and a Sharessian. So... probably someone friendly to Brightwater.

As for needed class, I guess that depends on whether SSM and/or OrangeTree intend to show up?

If no OT, we need a healer. If no SSM, we need a trapper. If both, we could probably use a tracker.

Have some other potentials coming to check ALFA out. One will be rolling a ranger. They might bring a friend as well, but not sure there.

Then if we've got all five of those, we could use either more buffs or melee DPS.

In that case I shall play buffy the punchline killer.
(And that way no one will miss him if I skip the next session...)

I would be happy to play on saturdays. Just to clarify... is that 10 am PST?

The U.S. west coast is still on PDT until November 2nd. I suspect that was just a slip up in the first post, and he just means whatever the local time is tomorrow and that this is going to be an accurate conversion for interested parties:

Ah, much easier. Thank you. I don't have to go to sleep early then.

Yes, we are on PDT at the moment and will shift to PST later. Those are GMT -7 and -8 respectively.

Sorry for the confusion. Also, it sounds like we have quite a nice group shaping up with both US and Euro players, so I'm looking forward to this.

Don't tell anyone here it's a lie... They might try to move to somewhere saner.
