The Dark Gem, Dark Temple, the Banites and the Ilmateri

I have tried to reach many PCs at various times and in different aspects with this plotline, so there may be many of you out there with interest in where it stands. I wanted to get a thread out to sum up a bit of what I have in my head, and hopefully tie some things together, and remind others of what has occurred so far, as well as try to make sense of our time line.
For starters, I would like to run a session on Monday Aug 27 in the evening EST. This is tentative, as I am requesting some back up from Ronan. Once we get a good time and date set up I am requesting these PCs: Aislinn and guest, Persephone and two guests.. This number is not set in stone, but is just about as many players as I would like to handle for this event. The PCs that have been requested please coordinate your availability, so we can find a good time for everyone.
Other PCs that have been involved with the plot thus far are encouraged to be on, and fill a supporting role, but the main effort will be focused on the above mentioned PCs....for this event. After a certain point in the event, I may ask that we narrow down the group, but depending on how the play goes and who is present, and how Ronan and I decide the course of events, more PCs may be able to join in.
Please be aware that you may be asked to exit-stage-left at some point, but I encourage PCs to be around to be able to share information that they have been given through various encounters with me (through other NPCs) from earlier events.
Some OOC/IC bullets to help some of you remember what has happened so far. this is very generalized, so I don't mind using some of this ICly so you can be on the same page when RPing the subject.
*A child that Father Bastille has been searching for is being held hostage by a group that was hold-up in the under-cellar of BG
*A number of groups have attempted to either scout, look for the child, or have had other dealings or goals with the kidnapers under the city.
*Unless your PC knows otherwise, the main group that has been blamed is a bunch of Talona worshipers.
*This group has since fled the undercellar, presumably running from some thing else that now inhabits the undercellar.
*noone has had contact with the kidnapers in months
((OOC, just FYI about how I have been moving the plot along: If any group attempted to go into the undercellar, the event was prepared for you to find the child, and/or other "things". If your group (and there was more than one over the last many months) ventured down into the cellar and chose not to continue, or were down there for other reasons, the "Bad guys" may have detected the intrusion and subsequently made a move toward their goals. I developed it in a sort of game of checkers in my head based on the actions of all the players involved. This has set up future events, and its resolution is still to be seen))

There was an "Attempted" theft from the temple in Beregost. In general, unless your PC knows other wise, the information about what was taken has been kept secret. Also, rumors vary about if the theft was successful or not.
