Darkmystic, dming!

Post by Darkmystic »

Hi hi, a few of you know I started to dm in bg but not many might have seen me on. I will spend a huge majority of my time playing in european times since I work on the weekdays.

As a dm I can say that im very open in what I allow players to do. You rather want to make a deal with the monsters? Many of them you will be able to just do that. You want to steal the amulet you promised a noble instead of killing the troll? Im up for that as well. I see my job as a dm to create stories and I see players as cowriters that can only improve the story more with their own ideas and energy.

Anyone can pm me about anything, about your character, about his or hers goals in life. One thing I love to get is well, prayers. Few things shows what kind a person he or she is as when they are praying to their gods. The gods I play to will be more active, they show signs, they send messengers, they give things and they demand things. Espicelly to those with divine classes, expect the "love".

Knowledges, you can whenever I dm just roll a knowledge and ask me a question.
Example: The group meets a person with a strange dialect, one of the player rolls geography and then asks "Do I reconise his dialect? I rolled 24 on geography." If I think its high enough I will answer and even if its to low I will answer at least "You got no idea."

So Bg people, start throwing me PMs and I will start throwing you stories. Lets craft some wicked fun together. And if you got questions, just throw me more PMs :)

I approve of this message.
pragmatic (adj.)
The opposite of idealistic is pragmatic, a word that describes a philosophy of "doing what works best."
From Greek pragma "deed," the word has historically described philosophers and politicians who were
concerned more with real-world application of ideas than with abstract notions. A pragmatic person
is sensible, grounded, and practical.

I would have loved to DM but it seems unless you're starting at lunch time where you live i wont be able to make it.

Have fun all!
