Returning to Game

Hey all,
I plan on returning to playing in the next couple of weeks once I get a few RL projects out of the way. What has been going on in BG? I'm kind of curious what some of the major players/plots are right now so I can have a somewhat informed decision on making a new character (last I left was before Jolene was even defeated, you may vaguely remember me as a certain old bard who was the "Sage of Sagas Yet Unsung" or some such nonsense).
Anyway, just checking in and curious what all has been going on! Hope to see you soon!
